When I lived in Alaska, we always ate Calrose (white) rice with Salmon. It is usually in the Asian foods aisle, not by the regular rice.
I also used to eat wild rice with my salmon when I was cooking it for myself.
Personally, I'd opt for the Calrose

Saffron rice or rice pilaf. Both of these are delicious with salmon. I hope this helps.

Jasmine Rice is delicious and fragrant. It is subtle. I suggest serving it with no salt or butter. It ofsets the natural salt of the Salmon. Let me know if this helps.

Braise some very fresh sliced fennel and add to steamed white basmati rice. Sprinkle some chopped scallions on top.

I suggest wild rice. It is not plain white, which is prettier on the plate and it tastes better.
