I'm thinking of switching my Amex Clear to another credit card. I like Amex and their customer service is awesome but less and less businesses out there using Amex service anymore due to their high service charge. So it's very inconvenience for me. I thought of getting Capital One credit cards but very alarmed on how many people got trouble because of it. All the research that I did make me even confuse so I'm just going to ask a real people who have a real experiences with their credit cards, Who have the best credit card offer out there...and if the company also have a great customer service (meaning any issues or concerns are satisfactorily resolved in timely manner) I have an excellent credit score thus I don't want any credit card company that will mess around with it either... Thank you for your help

People who are down on credit cards don't know how to use them. Don't listen to them, you are responsible and have a good credit score, you can get whatever cards you like.

Oh my gosh, so many are good. I have over a dozen credit cards, but only am using 4 every month right now which I pay in full. I have two American Express, Amex Hilton and Amex Starwoods which I charge nearly everything on and pay in full each month because I like the hotel rewards so I can vacation for free. Amex has great customer service as you know. Why switch Clear, just get a few more Amex. You don't have to use them all, you can rotate their use. If you want to, later you can allocate and combine the cards, leaving you one with a giant credit limit.

Citibank has great customer service too. I also have Citibank Aadvantage card. It's not a very good earner at one mile per dollar - but Citi has a 20-25k bonus when you sign up (25k is enough for a free domestic ticket) a

Also they have partners that give you bonuses when you sign up for stuff (for instance TMobile offers 14k miles when you sign up for a 2 yr family plan.

Amex Delta is also good if you fly Delta:

Discover has some nice cards, including a gas card with 5% cashback and the Discover Platinum has 5% cashback on selected categories. The Discover Miles card is good too:

Other nice credit cards are Citi Professional, Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards and Citi AT&T card - they all offer 10,000 Thank You points which means a $100 gift card.

So far this year I've gotten four free hotel nights, a free airline ticket, a free companion ticket and $200 worth of Target gift cards from using my credit cards. No fees, and didn't cost me a dime of interest, paying in full is the smart way to use credit cards.

I would NOT use Chase, I HATE them. They are know for ratejacking and lowering your CL if they don't like something you are doing. They don't like competition either, meaning if you have a lot of new accounts or other cards, they don't like it. Capital One is hideous, stay away. Their prime cards are ok, I hear their No Hassle Miles card is decent but I don't like the way they operate. When you apply they pull all three of your reports (instead of one like most banks) and do frequent checkups on you pulling your credit everytime they sent you an offer.

You're right to stay away from Cap One - no personal experience, but I hear and read horror stories.

Go to www.motleyfool.com - they have features and info about credit cards, like best rates and terms. It's an ongoing feature.

No credit card is good unless you own the bank.

Visit DaveRamsey.com to learn what the banks don't want you to know. Cash is King and Credit buys your slavery. CCards are really dumb except for bank profits.
