I'm sitting here imagining you planning to pack up the kids, knock over the First Federal and hightail it out of town. I'm new to this so, im really hoping this question is a joke.
I've learned in life; it's better to be a long way from truoble when the cops or when trouble's friends show up.
The kids are safer with old Aunt Bessie.
by the way, the term 'law breaking criminals' is redundant. All criminals are law breakers.

It happens all the time due to lack of emotion and education. Moral support also play a key factor. Most of the time they only care about themself or the drugs. The kids suffer greatly. I wish Kids could speak up and tell the world but, the can't. It is a shame. Jesus needs to be in the parents heart but, the bad thing is he's not.

I'm putting this in the context of a natural disaster.
My family would be together no matter what.We would rather die together than each live separately alone.I always figured that as long as we were together that's all that matters.I have an old saying that speaks of poverty and wealth.it this" I can cook beans and I can cook steak,
and they both taste good" So as long as we were together we would either make it together or die together.
I for one would not want life without my beloved husband and daughter..Of course I would want them to go on without me but I know that wont happen. We are a family ,a real family.I couldn't leave my child to starve,Id find some way to feed her.I know without a doubt in my mind or heart that my husband would provide for us no matter what the conditions.I'm sorry I guess I got off the question Cowboy ,I'm sorry if I rambled

Of course I would not abandon my family.

Perhaps criminals abandon their families because they do not want to put them in danger or at risk - they know that they are doing wrong and do not want to implicate their family members.

This is the the immigration category, so I'm guessing your question refers to immigration....

Neither. I would not subject my family to the consequences of illegal activity. I would stay in my own homeland and fight the corruption THERE, organize and participate in protests and demonstrations with thousands of others that feel the same way. Running away does not change things there. Going illegally into another country only makes you despised in the country you illegally entered. I would not want that for my family.

I've thought about it...all the threats we are faced with. Such as natural disaster (here it's earthquakes), war, etc. I think of evacuation. My family would go with me. As to poverty, that is everywhere. People just don't get that. Hunger, homelessness, medical neglect...that's right here, too. So when a family member improves themselves, they should try to help others. But I don't believe people should come here illegally, take a job denied to me and reserved for them, get my medical care, and send their money home to Mexico.

I could never abandon my children, if I had any. There's just no way, I'll never understand people who actually do that. Of course I would take them with me.

My kids would come with me, the older ones would also want to come with me [18 &16], this is cause when my marriage broke up, their father couldn't be arsed with them, and they saw that and remember it. There's nothing for them here apart from one son is interested in the police force, but i say they would definately want to be with me.
