Do you believe that you should live in a beautiful home when children are born orphans on streets? Life is not fair and sometime we forget that we (not the government or some kind of welfare system) should be helping everyone out. It is our responsibility to help one another. God gives us so many opportunities to help others - what are you doing? Don't slam God until you have done all you can. It is not his will that these children die . It is his will that we help them out.

It is just bad luck being born there. You could ask why God has let this happen. Then you could ask why God has let the Holocaust happen, where about 10mln jews were killed.

Logically, there are only 3 possible conclusions:
1. God doesn't exist
2a. God exists, but isn't able to do anything about it (so basically impotent)
2b. God exists, but isn't willing to do anything about it.

2b is the really the most disturbing scenario, because it contradicts everything the bible says. if 2a is true, God is irrelevant.

Some might say that God was upset with the jews for what they did to Jesus. (falls under 2a). Then I ask you, why did he let smallpox kill 100million!!!!!!!!!!! people in the 20th century, of all denominations? Forget God and decide what is right and wrong yourself.

The simple answer is that it is OUR fault. Blame your ancestors Adam and Eve. Their deliberate disobediance of God meant they were cast out of paradise, and that death, suffering and disease came upon the world.
The only way to escape this is to place faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Son of the Lord, and His promise of eternal life.
Remember the story of the richman and the beggar. In life, the rich man had the best of everything, whilst the beggar was forced to beg for his table scraps. When they both died, the rich man went to Hell, as he had placed Money above people, and when he saw the beggar in heaven being tended to, he asked for water to be brought to him by the beggar, only for the request to be refused because the beggar had been made to suffer and was receiving his reward now.
It is also our fault. We place massive restrictions on African countries, and give them loans which they cannot repay. Much of the food that is grown in Africa is sold to the rest of the world, not their own people. We place trade restrictions and take what little they have.
NO-ONE deserves to die at all. But the Lord God gave us free will, and it is this free will which has unleashed the greatest evil- war, love of money, sexual immorality, greed, drunkeness.... It is OUR fault not God's- we sinned, and live in a fallen and sin cursed world as a result.

I do not believe they had past lives.

Deserve is not the right question, the situation deserves more atention than the media gives it and God demands a compassionate reaction particularly from Christians

There is no question that there are an incredicle number of children living in vast numbers, homeless in the world and yet God has taken up himself the name "Father of the fatherless and defender of widows and orphans" You can be sure He is quite concerned what WE do about it.

of course these children doesnt deserve to die because they were born in a third world country...and God definitely is not to blame for what is happening to mankind...God has given us free will so its only human who's to blame for the bad things that are happening to us...if we all live according to God's will and His purpose for us, no misfortune will happen to us...just blessings and good life...

No of course not. God has given us free will, it is up to us how we look after each other.

There is enough food being produced on the planet to feed every man, woman and child on earth. We just don't want to share. We don't want to give up any of our perks like dishwashers, Ipods, holiday villas in Spain, just so some kids in Africa get to see their fifth birthday. We just can't be bothered.
