All that you can do is pray for them and their safe return home. Also, support them. Send them letters and photos. Remind them that everyone is praying for them and thinking of them often. Think positively.

Luckily no one in my immediate family has been deployed. However, my heart goes out to all of those who have. My advice is - pray pray pray. I wish you luck! God Bless.

Hi,,, when he gets there, find out what kind of candy he likes,, or cookies,,, they love that stuff from home,,, and stick some cards signed by the family and letters in with it....and photos....
This is what i liked when i was over there,,,,

pray/ write to him/ when he calls be positive / support his girlfriend/wife--spend time with them---yup
