Isn't that waht we should be doing in theory if we as citizens live by the laws of this country. They complain that this country breaks up thier families...so why don't we send them back to thier families and give them what they want? If they want to come here they have to do it legally...this isn't rocket science..correct? Deporting illegals would be a lot easier than people think.

Illegals are being given more rights than citizens in some ways. But the democrats stand up for them, so if republicans make laws about deporting, they are devils.

Its all about the dollars.

We should help those families be together by sending the illegals back home

To play the devils advocate here (because I partly agree with you): Many illegals are illiterate ... and no ... it's not easy to come here legally. Many have no documentation at all and the procedures for obtaining documentation in Mexico are pretty hard. You'd think that anyone could come into the land of liberty, but it just isn't so. I know plenty of Russians who have tried to come to the US just to visit and were denied. It's not easy.

The removal of illegals could have a serious detrimental effect on the economy. All of our food crops are picked by illegals at sub minimum wage. They also take up about 25% of the employment in housekeeping and cleaning and construction services. The government gives more conservative numbers, but how many illegal aliens want to be counted by the government?

For me, government officials who say that Mexican illegals do the jobs that we don't want to is in effect saying that we (Americans) are weak or that white folks are too good to do hard work. The problem is that our minimum wage is too high. If we all of a sudden had to hire Americans and pay them full minumum wage to do these jobs, a pound of oranges would cost $20. The same argument goes to those companies who now outsource thier labor overseas.

There is no answer that both sides will like. But we need to do something. To quote Senator Phil Graham, "You don't invite somebody over for dinner if you can't afford to feed your own family."

I agree with you. I have a friend from India that came here legally. I really dont see why people just file the paper work. I hate these immigrants that come in here illegally and take the jobs of Americans. Sure people say its cheap labor but in reality its not; we Americans have to pay more taxes, higher health care and so on just because of these idiots. To make things worse we cant sue them if theres an accident of some kind, there are many others things we cant do. What i hate most of all is when they cross the boarder and the girlfriend/wife is pregant. When/if they have the child in the USA they become Americans.

Here's a reason for you. Are you prepared to have the prices of almost all goods and services go up if you deport all the illegals? Illegal immigrants make less than minimum wage which means employers do not have to payout so much in wages. If you put all legal, minimum wage (or higher) workers in those jobs employers will have to raise their prices to deal with the higher payout. You think they are going to dip into what was previously their money because they didn't have to pay the minimum wage? Of course not, they are just going to raise prices.

Our current government is pro business. Business wants cheap labor to maximize profits. They ay there are too many immigrants to deport. Funny they don't feel that way about drugs! WE have a very corrupt government that wants to shelter these people.
I am not mad at The people who want to make a better life for themselves, but if you break our laws you should be held accountable!

We have 10% of Mexico here!

A very simple answer can be greatly complicated by political correctness and a desire for more votes.

I say 'end anchor baby' and start petitioning your state representatives to support wholehearted enforcement on illegal immigration.
