You are living in what people call, The Age of Anxiety". It's impossible to not be stressed out by what the Bush Administration is doing, how their friends have contributed to disastrous climate changes, wars, wiretapping, covert spying, high costs of fuel-- you name it.

People of all ages are even having "panic attacks".

Sorry your age group was stuck with this nonsense, but not all people in your parent's generation are to blame. Just some.

Get away from electronics-- you need GREEN. Go outside under the trees and get plenty of exercise, drink water and meditate. Your generation is really important so find out how you can help and tell your parents! They don't know everything, and they should learn what you know and what you're about.

If you do think something's wrong, talk to a doctor or a grown up you can trust. But it sounds pretty normal to me--if anything you might have an anxiety problem, maybe some depression. My friends and I, every once in awhile, we have those moments when we're so worried and confused and afraid. It happens to the best of us. We're so young and we already feel like we're too old. And we have those sad moments, too. Not everyone is happy all the time--that's a part of being human and living life.

If you're really concerned about it, speak to a doctor, alright? If you're the least bit concerned, talk with your doctor. In fact, I've got an anxiety disorder with depression, and I spoke to my doctor. They might recommend medicine, or counseling, and those things can help out. But I took medicine for awhile, and then decided to take my own route and cope with it myself, exercise and keep busy. Please, if you're concerned, speak with a doctor and find out what works best with you, okay?

But things will be fine, they'll work out in the end :) Try to hang out with your friends and try to relax. Good luck and take care.

U r absolutely normal. Just keep the past behind u, as u have so much more awaits for u.Take each day as it unfolds.U should gain confidence in urself rather than worry about it.U should feel happy and lucky for urself and always feel that there r millions of people who r not so much previliged as u r. Try to be with people and spend the moments happily rather than worrying.Worrying leads u no where.

make a plan for your future. i joined the air force at 18 and it was good for me. i do not know how you feel about joining, but you get a pay check and training and you get to travel. it is something to think about.

i feel like that to sometimes, like i like people... but i never want to go out and do anything... you just have to make yourself do social things. im in 8th grade and people are always asking if i want to hang out and i always make up excuses that i am busy doing something else. i don't think there is anything wrong with it... we just like to be alone.
