Especially the hypocritical Muslims who preach peace and practice violence everytime they don't get their own way. Why can't the Christians and the Muslims settle their differences on the football pitch. Just imagine if all the religeons got football teams up together. It might just work as long as we don't have the Pope or Bin Laden as referee.

Actually it was the islamization by the sword that started it and they are just trying to point to the crusades as an attack to Islam. Actually the crusades was not an attacks, it was to stop their advancement towards the european continent which some region have already fallen into their hands, like for instance some parts of Spain and the Balkans. And the original conflict started between two non christian faith but only included the christians because christians are also kafirs including buddhists, Hindus, athiests, and other nonmuslim faiths. And since christians are a massive force to deal with that's why the concentration is to weaken the strongest one first for the rest will be much much easier.

I'm not saying that it is but history can be flawed, we are just citing these claims because we read it as recorded in books but the most credible proof that we see now is that if Islam was really flourishing during those times, why do we see the opposite now? Did they stop the clock after the crusades? and now blame the crusades because they lost track to keep up to the pace? So where is the glory in that historical phernomenon that you are talking about? And now they are so mad of the west because the west has introduced democracy to the world that they find hard to accept?

Many wars have been fought but christian never gave up discovering things for the good of mankind and making life easier including maybe those intelligent athiests that made science really workable and now being enjoyed by billions including you. If Islam is really a glorious religion they should be working hand in hand with these developments and not bombing schoolhouses that were built for the benefit of the younger generation and go wild just because of an opinion. The real problem that is in your face right now is NOW and not the crusade. I mentioned the crusade because people keep going back to that as if the blame on christians can really solve the complications that is presently hovering over our roofs. I am not vying for the best answer here, I am facing the real problem squarely as it emerges before me and the rest of the world.

I wanted to message you this, graif, but since you won't let me, this'll go public.

"Actually the crusades was not an attacks, it was to stop their advancement towards the european continent which some region have already fallen into their hands, like for instance some parts of Spain and the Balkans. "

Your entire post is ridiculous, but this is easily verifiably dumb. The Crusades *were* an attack, a full blown prissy fit for the Christians to try to prove their authority over othern not like them. In actuality, Christians back then were worse than any Muslim today. I've always been opposed to using ancient history as a defense/offense for modern-day debate, but since you started it, I just want to get the facts straight. The Muslim Arabs were rich. And smart. And "civilized". Europe was in the middle of hte Dark Ages, and was none of these things. Europe wanted spices and silk from China, but had to go through the Arabs. So they decided to attack them under the name of "religion".

And you mention Spain? Some of the most glorious advancments in the arts, sciences, and mathematics were discovered there by the Muslim Moors. And they lived in complete harmony with the Jews and Christians, until 1492 came along and the Christians couldn't take that. After the Christian re-takeover of Spain, something called the "Inquisition" started up. Heard of it? That one war on Muslims and Jews that forced them to either flee, convert, or be brutally tortured? Thus begins the enlightening reign of the Christians.

It seems silly for me to say this now, but I'm seriously against using ancient history as applicable arguments today. Just because Muslims were the peak of civilization at their time, doesn't mean that we carry that same legacy today. But I am totally for making sure that history is right.

Actually christians and muslims do not have the same belief about life. As our schools, teachers, friends, neighbors and relatives etc make effect on our life; just like that the religion also play a role effective. So I don't think that christian can bear the muslims and muslims can bear the christians regarding their ways of life. Both are right at their places but who is right in real it will be told at the dooms day.

The so called religious war between the Muslims and the Christians has been going on for about 3000 years or more. It originated from the fighting between two half brothers!!!

Because for a peaceful religion Muslims do quite a lot of damage with blowing up trains and all that. I wonder how Muslims would feel if a radical Christian blew up Mecca or something?

Very easy. Muslims already accepted Jesus (son of Mary) and the holy bible(original one but now already changed to new and old testaments) and if Christians will accept the Prophet Mohammed and the holy Quran(nobody can change untill the day of judgement).

The feedom of humankind can only be achieved when they are practicing the truth of universe.

It is sured freedom without boundary leads huaman being to achieve behaviour of animals.

I wants to hint you all. Please learn the history of Dead Sea in Jordan. What was the root cause of this sea?

yeah
Bin Laden the striker and the Pope the play maker in the midfield
and what? Bush is the coach...
I shall play in the opposing team as a defender but I will pray to Allah that Osama won't carry any bombs.
The referee? hmmm....
Kim Nislon is a good one "the Danish referee"

Actually I'm Muslim and I refuse both Osama and the Pope..they suck

You know how many Penalities would occur in that game!

And then all the arguments with the Refs!

Then all the shoving will start when THEY lose 10 yards for just being devious and cute!

We are going to have metal detectors and explosive sniffing dogs check everyone going, players, coaches, people in the bleechers!

Hezbollah Deserves

a Thrashing

The scenes are heartbreaking. Mangled civilians, wailing children and wholesale destruction fill the landscape. Lebanon is being shredded by the whirlwind of Israeli bombs.

“Stop the violence” is the natural human response to these grisly images. It’s how most of us feel and it’s how U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Ann an reacted, saying forcefully, “Hostilities must stop.” Thank God for that, for if it were easy to accept such suffering, all mankind would be doomed. It’s the job of the United Nations to make sure that never happens.

Yet now is not the time to stop this brutal war. Human nature notwithstanding, peace is not always the best answer.

Like a schoolyard bully who deserves a thorough butt-kicking, Hezbollah needs to be taught a lesson. It can either learn to live in peace, or it can die.

Most civilized countries acknowledge that Hezbollah started the fight by crossing the border to kill three Israeli soldiers and kidnap two. But a growing chorus of international critics and much of the American media are saying, as Ann an did, that Israel ’s response has been “disproportionate.”

The criticism, and its attendant calls for an immediate cease-fire, have three flaws.

First, to urge restraint is to suggest Israel should play by different rules than its enemies. Hezbollah, Hamas and the other Muslim terror groups don’t warn Jewish civilians to leave a pizza store or a bus before they blow it up. They aim to kill as many as possible in order to terrorize the entire population. Israel , on the other hand, has dropped thousands of leaflets telling Lebanese civilians to leave and has taken precautions to limit civilian casualties. That about 300 are dead and thousands of others are displaced is tragic, but the blame belongs mostly to Hezbollah, which hides fighters and weapons in civilian areas precisely to deter attack.

Second, expecting Israel to limit itself to a tit-for-tat board-game response delegitimizes Israeli suffering, as though its individuals should not grieve for their dead or fear for their safety because Israel possesses more military punch. But with Hezbollah continuing to fire rockets indiscriminately into population centers, it has not moral standing to determine Israel ’s response. War is war.

Third, and most important, the call for restraint reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of terrorists. Their barbarism, including the beheadings of hostages, sets them apart from mankind. They have proven they are not subject to rational approaches. They are not interested in compromise anymore than a mad dog will share its bone.

That is why Israel deserves our support and our gratitude. It is fighting for its own survival, and much, much more. It is fighting for the survival of the civilized world against the darkness.
