If it isn't legal, we don't discuss it here.

yes you can...my copy is genuine; however, i had someone load some hoaky stuff on 2 old computers at work. all you do is follow the prompts to go to microsofts web (click on the icon that appears in the bottom right hand corner) and you can tell it to stop the notifications. it is recommended you do buy a copy as they are eventually going to be fining people big time. but for now it is just a warning to what the future holds.

Buy a fully licensed copy.

Two ways
1. do a google search and you will find several sites that will tell you how. I have done this for a number of friends. Its not hard but too long here to describe
2. Re-install
NEVER DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM MS UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IT DOES. NEARLY 15% OF THE MACHINES BEING FLAGGED TURN OUT TO HAVE LEGIT SYSTEMS!!!!!! So much for Bill and his thugs

You can't. Get the authorized copy. The Academic version is cheaper if you qualify.

you don't. Sorry. That's what happens when you pirate software. However... there is this one way....

Get a copy of a windows xp cd that is the exact same as your, then go to the authentification site. you may be able to circumvent it... But I doubt it.

Reinstall and don't register!
Better yet, buy a copy.
Almost as good, switch to Lunix Xandros, Linsprie, Ubunto, etc
