Vitamin C (in pretty large amounts - 2-3 grams per day) and L-lysine 1-2 grams per day away from meals. (L-lysine suppresses the virus.) Tea tree oil helps applied externally. Long term; improve diet (less junk food and take a good multivitamin), extra vitamin C (1 gram per day) and sometimes various herbs can help that improve the immune system, such as astragalus and cats claw. If your immune system was working properly you wouldn't have had an outbreak in the first place! If you are not getting enough sleep, then correct that if you can - not getting enough rest messes up immunity, among other things.

The pharmacy has some stuff in a tube especially for cold sores. Off hand, I can't think what it is called. I can think of one, Carmex, but I know there is another. Ask your pharmacist. No need to suffer.

I have suffered for years with cold sores & once they are blisters & then burst nothing will speed up healing,I have tried everything,if anything the more u touch it & put stuff on it the worse they get.the one thing I have recently found out that really does work is as soon as you get a tingle put ear wax on it & it wont come up I know it sounds totally gross, but it really works..not if they have burst though then its too late.

My wife uses "Abreva" when she can. At the first tingle she starts putting it on and it goes away alot faster and keeps outbreaks minimal. Bad news is that it's like $15 for a tiny tube that gets lost easily!!

Go get some, you won't be disappointed

if you have a cold sore already, pop the sore so it will drain and be able to dry out and heal faster.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/9gjRP
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.
