I really like this guy. He's friends with my best friend and friends with my brother too. I'm becoming his friend, last night he even gave me a hug. The problem is he's 2 and 1/2 years older than me. I'm 14, he's 16. Aslo, my best friend said they he might like me, but he doesn't go out with girls he likes because he doesn't want to get his heart broken. He's the nicest guy I have ever met and my best friend and brother say that he's great. What do I do, I really really like him.

I remember being 14 and having feeling towards others. That was 40 years ago now. My honest suggestion is not to take these times too seriously. Perspectives change as you get just a few years older. Try to have fun, and enjoy life!

You have so much time.!! For now just be his friend show him the kind of person you are. Through the things that you say and do, he will be able to see that you can be trusted. Don't push it, just enjoy the time that you all can spend together as friends.

Just be his friend. If it's meant to be. Your hearts will know someday if he is the one for you. Why hurry the relationship? Unless you make a commitment to each other. You are free to date others..The best marriages are the ones who know each other a long time and are FRIENDS first. Wish you the best...

When in doubt, do like Aaliyah and write him a 4 page letter! I'm 30 and it still works for me! Good luck.

Be nice to him, flirt with him. Give little hints that you might be interested in him. If he flirts back, chances are he likes you too. If he ignores you, move on.

be friends that is fine but as far as anything else, back off until you are 16 or you could get him in BIG trouble.

Leave him be. A girl shouldn't have to go for a guy who doesn't like her.
