The answer is yes.
The biggest problem is that many atheists now say that their ideas are 'scientific' to gain support, and it is this attitude which has ensured that science and religion were separated.
Many well known scientists were also deeply religious, such as Galileo Galilei, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, and even the ancient religions had scientific followers such as Pythagoras and Heros, the inventor of steam propulsion. In fact, it was the Church and the early monastries which studied and wrote about science, such as astronomy, geology, medicine, herbology and botany and even chemistry. It was a monk who first suggested genetic theories, whilst growing sweet peas.
Similarly, have you considered creation science. Thi is a fairly new and small scientific area which aims to research science to confirm the Biblical Creation ad God's word in the Bible. Current research often looks at DNA and genetic proof of evolution, the Flood theory, geology and the Bible, dinosaurs and anthropology, all whilst trying to follow the Bible. This area of science is often criticised for dogmatism, the literal approach to the Bible, and the COMPLETE rejection of evolutionary theories.
Another Christian version of science is intelligent design. This looks for proof of an intelligent Creator in the natural world, based upon the idea that "just as a watch needs a watchmaker, the world with its infinite and complex systems, needs a Creator. For example, they argue that the human brain, if any simpler than the present form, would not work and that it is too complex to have occured by chance.
Both sciences aim to affirm the Bible though.
Personally, I believe in science and the Lord God. I just don't accept evolution- the theory, if closely examined, simply falls apart.
If you were interested in Creationism and intlligent design, try:

This is a Creationist website, withlots of clear and reference (with the Bible) articles.
Hope this helps!

Absolutely, its science and religious assumptions that currently do not co-exist. Its science and Genesis that do not agree.
Personally, I'll believe whichever has the most compelling evidence to back itself up with. Genesis has no known author, no known editor, was chosen for inclusion into the bible by man, translated by man...there's no evidence that its authentic whatsoever! So, science wins this one for me.
Conversely, science has no explanation for how a baby can form so perfectly within 9 months, how it already knows how to breathe, feed, blink, etc. So, something other than science has a shot here for now.

Of course they can. Only the narrow-minded like the bicker and say that they can't. And usually when religion conflicts with science, it's over some stupid political BS.
