I found this little story online. I thought I would post it to see what people thought. What have you done or are going to do to help those lives changed because of Katrina?

Do you have any stories you want to post? :) Thanks for anything you want to provide. :D

spent a month in Louisiana as a volunteer with an NGO. Since I wound up running the motor pool, I'm not sure how much I actually helped!

This is the biggest bunch of BS i have ever seen. Katrina was the best thing that happened to New Orleans. Tax payers like ME get to buy everyone in New Orleans a new car and a new house and as many $2000 debit cards as they can grab. I have had it with this. People have been milking this cow for over a year.

I work for the New Orleans 3-1-1 information hotline, I assist citizens in making debris removal request, evacuation registration, abandoned vehicle removals, as well as serve as the non emergency police department.
