This question is primarily directed at Christians because almost all Muslims are close-minded, so its a waste to try and change their hatred for ahteists/agnostics who they regard as "pagans".

I dont understand the hatred that comes from "some" Christians for atheists. The biggest threat in the world today is Islamic terror, yet some of you morons still wanna bash atheists/agnostics?

Cant we get a time-out here? An application of the "enemy of my enemy" principle?

True Christians love Athiests, along with Muslims & any one else who hasn't recieved eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

A Christian is concerned that you won't go heaven when you die. Even one sin will keep you out of heaven. Sins don't go to heaven so needs to be atoned for.

A Christian could feel threatened from Athiest though if Athiest would try to promote their belief on children, especially the Christians children.

You are calling Christians morons. Christians don't believe in Moroni. It is written that the unbeliever is the moron.

Athiesm is a religion that denies the knowledge of God. It is written to cast down all imaginations exalting self against the knowledge of God.

Personally, I don't feel threatened, I feel annoyed, exasperated and pitying. Not because you don't believe as I believe, but because you refuse to believe anything. Even the agnostic cannot commit sufficiently to do anything beyond admitting that possibly there is somebody out there who's more than human.
God! I hope so, cause we aren't so great.
And why can't we all band together against the Islamofascists? Because most of us get really tired of your arrogant insistence that you are rational and we are not. Plus that the atheists tend to side with the Liberal faction, which is still claiming--for purely political reasons--that there is no Islamic threat.

It's not a matter of hating anybody. It's a matter of protecting what is important. Our country was founded on Christian beliefs, with very strong emphasis on teaching the Bible and its values to our children.

Just as "some" Christians can be overbearing and be picked out by the media to represent an entire population, so can "some" atheists/agnostics. The protestors picketing to keep me from teaching my children my values, and trying to remove Christianity's vital role from our nation's history are the ones who are deservedly the target of outrage. Only about 4% of the population fit this category, yet they are undermining the work of 200+ years of perserving our heritage. Squeaky wheels and all that.

I don't agree that it's ok to say "believe what you want" because I care about everyone and want everyone to be saved and not face negative judgment in Heaven. I don't hate anyone for not agreeing with me, but I do get angry at people for pushing their DISbelief on a whole society that is trying to do what's best for a country in great need.

More Christians do not bash you. I have never taken the time, nor stoop to the low of downgrading your thoughts. It is your life and from what I have heard many Ahteists, do good in this world , only thing is they don't believe in God. I am speaking for many, many Christians, who also says, live and let live. I have never given any thought of hate, twords you and yours. My upbringing didn't teach me that. So I apologize for the so called Christians who do show hate to you. That is not what we have been taught. Not all of us are like that. God help the ones who do hate. Jesus said, FORGIVE THEM , for they KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO !!

Wow ..."almost all Muslims are close-minded...". hmmmm...

What YOU believe in is your business, man! It's a free country!

BTW - Who told you Muslims feel threatened by Atheists/Agnostics? What happened to you that led you to believe this?

Sorry, but these are incorrect statements...

OK well I have more in common with Athiests than my fellow Christians, but here goes.

They try to play nice at first, but they get angry when people question God. It's like in the Roman times. If you didn't accept Jupiter as the God then you were burned. Good thing the fundis can't do that or we'd be in trouble. Anyway they just see it as questioning God, and they get annoyed. You get annoyed when a person repeatedly asked "Well why don't you believe in God??" Same thing....they just get pissed off.

i do not threaten, yet I do stand u for my faith, i do not convert it really is the Holy Sprit's interest, yet i ought to expalin my faith at each and every danger. I "should be waiting with and answer". i do no longer threaten human beings. If human beings take my words to heart and seem at what they're doing then tremendous. even as talking to fundies, the topics are: A-they take each and every danger to bash catholics and our faith in a maximum disgusting way calling us pagans, calling the Pope the anit-christ, affirming terrible issues about Bleesed mom B-they insist they're precise depending on the Bible C-they do no longer understand the Bible nor do they're conscious of it in any respect.(era). They do, even if understand what Hell-hearth is and they understand it really is authentic. even as total communities of human beings are so lost and picture they're so precise how am i able to sit down and individuals who no what hell-hearth is probability merely that without affirming something, i'd be judged through what i trust(imagine), do, and say. If i understand the reality and that i fail to inform them, they who call themselves christains say they prefer salvation more beneficial than something and are blinded to the actual undeniable reality that they do no longer have it that thier personal source (the bible contridicts what they say the trust), If i do not say something to those freindlies, how am I a solider of Christ, how do I stay as a lot because the legacy of my affirmation if I sit down on the reality, how am i able to help unbelivers if i do not share the reality with those friendlies, who will I be judged, to boot John Paul II in his encylical on ecumenism stated we are to evegilize, we are to assist those unfavourable ignorant souls, who with the help of no fault of their personal were presented up in darkness and fed lies. that's no longer thire fault, even if the in worry-free words way i understand to evanglize is to inform the reality in thier (fundie) lanuage so it is going to sink in make an effect. John 6 (Ibel;ieve that's matthew 27 -- the euchaist "whoever eats my flesh and beverages my blood has eternal life, there is not any life in someone who does no longer -- i did not write those words Jesus stated them. Mathew 25;31-40 six is the clearest unequivical reality i do not ignore that you won't be able to be kept through faith on my own, back i did not say those words -- i opt to shout this "THE BIBLE TEACHES US that you won't be able to be kept through faith on my own" In language that i understand the fundies understand "turn OR BURN"

I am Catholic. I certainly don't hate atheists. I hope they will believe while there is still time, but I don't hate them at all. I have some really kind friends who are atheists. I pray for them but don't try to preach to them.

Well, first I don't want to bash atheists. Second, anyone who does isn't following what Christ asked them to do. The way I believe, to change someone you have to do it politely not like a jerk
