Front or rear? Should be fairly simple, just unbolt it and fix, but you may have to take the fuel rail off. Best suggestion: get a repair manual on it.

It relies upon on the automobile. I really a lot under no circumstances replaced it, in spite of a cork gasket. The trick is to not tighten down the valve disguise nuts fairly tight. All it needs to do is crates a seal to maintain away from oil splash from leaking out. you do not prefer to squash the gasket flat for that. there's no stress in the back of it. you should use slightly sealant. If the gasket is amazingly stiff or cracking it would get replaced. Alternately you would possibly want to easily use an same gasket and save an eye fixed on it. If it leaks replace it. this is not a severe gasket, so in case you want to apply the former one the engine received't explode.

They are very easy to do. Just remove the 5 bolts holding the cover on, I think a 8 mm deep well socket 1/4 drive should do it. Just pull the old gasket out and clean the cover in a good solvent, install new gasket in cover and apply a dap of silicone where the intake and head meet and install cover and tighten bolts.
