If she finds out I am enjoying something she is opposed to it and makes me quit it. I had an interest in the paranormal, she made me quite that. She found out I enjoyed the Martial Arts, made me quit that. She found out I enjoy politics, berates me whenever I talk about it, not for or against any issue, mainly against me talking about it. I use to be interested in sciences, she made me quit that and gave me hell about it.

Is it Christianity or it personality to control be against enjoyment?

sounds like you guys have some deep issues to resolve. there is something hanging between the two of you that needs to be talked about. no it is not Christianity although I would have to agree with her on the paranormal and martial arts. if you are a Christian you should not dabble in these. But if she has general animosity towards you , you should get this out in the open by talking and that means you truly listening.

Sounds to me if she can't be happy with herself, then she doesn't want you to be happy either...reminds me of my ex. You need to verbally address it now and stand up for what you want to do. You can be together and miserable or you can see if the relationship holds the test of time while you enjoy something that you like to do. I would also recommed finding something you both can enjoy. Maybe that will help. Good Luck

Besides getting beaten up, what are you getting out of this relationship? Is this a dictator you're dealing with or are you not of age? What is it that keeps you from telling her to go jump in a lake? It is NOT Christianity, it is a warped mind.
