A good friend of mine has Crohns and I yell at her all the time...she takes whatever medicines the doctors give her but she does not follow their dietary restrictions as best as she should. I've heard that you can "mentally" defeat Crohns. Follow the diet, avoid stress and participate in stress reducing activities like yoga. Stay healthy and #1 Relax!

there is no single magic cure and prescription drugs isn't a single cure either but can be helpful. proper diet, mild exercise, good sleep habits, yoga, stress reduction and various medications can greatly assist. in you finding comfort and stable health. most of all you have to have a commitment to taking control of you how you take care of yourself. research on the web - there is tons of information out there. but be realistic... if anyone claims a single fix... they are not telling you the truth.

TRY pumpkin seed oil, this is very good for stomach ulcers, and I have seen it help more people with ulcers than ulcer drugs. But, be aware, I am not a doctor and cannot be held responsible for any choices that you make regarding an opinion I/you make based on reading something from a Q and A post room.

people are under the assumption that alternate medicine is the way to go...however, it is simply a way of lifestyle in which a person LIVES with their ailment as alternate medicine does not cure a thing. it can even interfere with true lab results as well as potentially dangerous.
not only this, but disease is much more smarter than money.
good luck.
