B sensible go & C a Doc/MD ASAP.
Sounds like U may have an infection & it's only gonna get worse.
Did U use a tampon & 4get about it?
Have U had sex & don't remember much about it?
Have U been sitting in a bubble bath/changed UR washing powder & not realised U may B allergic 2 it?
There's many reasons 4 having an Infection.
But go C a Doc 4 an educated opinion, huh?
On here, they'll even say U have the plague 4 the sake of 2 points!

I'm no doctor, but if you've had it for 3 years and it doesn't hurt, it's probably not an infection. Yeast infections burn and itch and look like cottage cheese. If you had an infection for 3 years, you'd probably be really uncomfortable.
It could be part of your normal cervical mucus cycle. Cervical mucus changes over the course of your cycle, ranging from egg-white like (fertile time) to white/yellow and sticky to even crumbly and dry. Many women have to wear pads year-long (pantiliners, right?) Does it change to the more slippery stuff mid-cycle?
As for the smell-- that may be subjective. I think the two things to watch for are a fishy smell (bacterial infection) or a yeasty smell (for yeast infection) If you still have questions, see your gynecologist.

It sounds like thrush. I would go to a doctor or nurse. You don't say what country you are in, but in England there are lots of Well women clinics. These tend to be very friendly clinics run for women about women's medical problems.
You can request a female doctor or nurse. IT really isn't scary.
What they will probably do is take a vaginal swab to test your discharge. When you go wear a skirt - then you do not need to take this off just lift it up - this way you feel less exposed!
Then they will insert a swab into your vagina - this feels a bit uncomfortable but if you take deep breaths you should be fine.
Don't be embarrased about going - what ever you have they will have seen before and they can give you sensible practical advise and you can stop worrying about your discharge.
Good luck.

It sounds like you have a yeast infection. Yes, you should probably go see someone.
But there are a few other things that you can do - go to the health food store and buy a Candida detox - stop eating processed food with sugar - the sugar increases the overload of yeast in the body and must get out somehow.
Check the Internet for yeast infections and natural cures.

First thing is go see your gyno. Second why on earth would you wait for three years before seeking advice. You only have one body so take care of it, don't let things that aren't "normal" go more than you have to.. Any discharge from your vagina that is not clear , has an odor, or your normal period you should see a doctor immediately. You wouldn't want to have an infection go on with out treatment , some infections can lead to strerlization, or worse death. Please go see your doctor.

I know of a problem with the same type of symptoms. I think is called bacterial vaginossis,it is where the pH levels in your vagina are out of balance. There are herbal pills that you can take to help even these out. It is actually for intestinal health, it's called acidophilus with bio flora. You can pick this up anywhere that sell dietary supplements. But you need to see a gynecologist to make sure it is not an STD!!!

The most common causes for constant discharge are:
- The bacteria gardnerella vaginalis (bacterial vaginosis).
- A yeast infection (yeast candida that causes thrush).
- The parasite, trichomonas vaginalis
Vaginal discharge can also be caused by a sexually transmitted disease such as gonorrhoea or syphilis, so if there is a possibility of this, you should see a doctor to be tested.
You can self-test for the more common problems with "the Vianalyse test" from http://www.vianalyse.com/ .
Treatment will most likely still involve a doctor's visit for confirmation.
Check out the available homeopathic treatments as well:

Good luck!

sists on the ovaries can cause this and also a fungus infection of the lining of the womb ,go to the doc and get it sorted as it could get a lot worse and prevent you from ever having children ,or eventually move to different organs and cause you alot of distress ,
