Lately I've been very paranoid. Like when I"m in the shower and i hear a bump or something. I think somsone is breaking into my house and this scares me because I feel very vulnerable in the shower naked and soaked and inside a small room.

Also, the other day I went fishing by myself and everytime a car drove by I thought they might kill me and take my money and throw me into the lake.

Another thing is if I miss a phone call I think that they will come rob my house because they think I'm not home. And I hate when people drive by when I'm pulling out of my driveway because they might rob my house because they know I just left.

I hate feeling like this. I'm afraid to tell my parents because I don't want them thinking I'm insane. I'm not a schizophrenic. I don't hear voices or have hallucinations. I'm just very aware of every detail and the consequences that might occur because of them in the worst case scenario.

it it possible that you're very stressed out about something and the paranoia is a by product of that stress? stress reduction technique might be an answer for you and also perhaps you should see a medical doctor to discuss this and to confirm if/not your body/mind's heighten sensitivity has an underlying health issue.

It sounds like you have an anxiety problem. Talk to a mental health professional to help you to understand what your anxiety is being caused by. Don't just take medicines. There is a reason for it and it can be fixed through therapy. Good Luck. Your not insane.

I think we all have that kind of feelings sometimes and it's scary.
You can go talk to a professional if you think it could help.
Of course you're not insane !
I think you're stressed or anxious about something, try to figure out what it is and confide in a friend and it should be better soon.
Good luck !

your not schizophrenic or insane you sound like you are very anxious. has anything happened recently that has made you feel like this? do you have physical symptoms such as sweats or palpitations? if so you need to see a doctor who may give you some medication to help with your anxiety. if you take illegal drugs such as weed, (not that I'm saying you do ) but this can lead to increased paranoia

Please feel free to contact me! I have sort of the same things sometimes like people hearing my thoughts. It was hard to tell and I finally broke the news to parents and shrink.
