My family is far from perfect but is it right in anyway shape or form for my parents to send me to bed every night in tears? All my family does is yell and to tell you the truth it REALLY sucks. My mom owns her own business and I work under her so I never get away from her and well my dad is my vocal coach/manager so all he ever does is bark commands. But is there any reason on earth for them to make me cray all the time. Becasue they past few weeks there have been only 2-3 nights that I have not cried myself to sleep or been crying when I go to sleep.

You say in the past few weeks there have been only 2-3 nights you have not cried yourself to sleep. I was just wondering if your parents have only been like that recently? If they've only been like that recently, may be something is going on in their life. They could also be under alot of stress. Ask them why they're like that? Let them know that it hurts you. Maybe they don't have any idea how it affects you. I'm sure your parents want the best for you, but sometimes they might not think that the way they are can really hurt you. That's why it is important for you to talk with them. At the very least you'll find out why they are the way they are with you. I know if my sons came to talk to me about a problem or something that I did, I would listen to what they had to say. I would also not feel very good about myself if I found out that they went to bed crying because of me. So, if you haven't already tried it, talk to them...you may be surprised (in a good way) on their reaction. I wish you good luck!

Well I would just ignore them and do you thing. Dont freak out, choose your battles. Dont make everything a battle when it is so easy to do with those people. You could take a vacation and get away for a week. Get a new job if possible, working with your family (in most cases) is stressful and it will take a toll on either your relationship or the business. They are your parents, they lvoe you but they are not perfect. Just forgive them and let go, you will be better off with out the stress. Its okay not to care what they think and be yourself, but respectfully of course. Good luck.

I know that no one's family is perfect but I think you should tell your parents what is going on how they are making you feel and how you cry i think to cry is the worst thing to do your giving your own self a headache and that crying can lead into depression just tell your mom and dad that the three of you need to talk.

no one family is perfect. i don't know your age so i don't know which direction to lead you in. i can say this, prayers will take you a long way. pray and leave it in god's hand.when you pray u also have to believe and trust in him. things won't change over night, but it'll come soon. try to have a family discussion to talk about the feelings each one of you have. if you all have to cry, cry!find out how this family can communicate without the yelling.
