A letter to them inviting them but make sure that they are as they say they are or you will be in a lot of trouble. Best to say you can't you are not an official body and don't do it.

unless you marry him, it is really unlikely it will happen. I know that sucks, but that the way it is. Unless that person has a whole lot of money and proves it at the US embassy in Cairo, he or she won't be issued a visitors visa. A good friend of mine is from Ethiopia and his family on his mothers side all moved to San Diego as asylum seekers while he moved to Switzerland. He's tried unsuccessfully 6 times to get a visitors visa. If you're from an African country, they make it really hard.

Write a letter , send it by snail mail and then he can show the letter in the us consulate there when he apply for the tourist visa..u can also provide an affidavit of support ..proof that u will provide board and lodging, and if he doesnt need it, a letter of invitation will be enough.

Sounds like a mistake I made years ago. If they can't get a visa and/or the paperwork necessary to come and visit you then something's fishy. It shouldn't require you to do anything - except maybe officially say that yes, they are visiting you. DON'T get roped into anything else - especially if they do get here.

has to prove to the us that this person seeking a visitor visa will return to their homeland. this maybe in the form of job family, ties money in their local Bank and they need to prove that they have the funds to sustain themselves for the duration of the visit

Wouldn't they just need a passport and a plane ticket? I think they would probably be more knowledgeable working it from their end. The airline would be a tremendous help.

I hate to burst your bubble sweetheart, but there are not many people who want to come to Bushica. Except of course, for illegal mex's.
