Im newly divorced and never was into the dating scene I need help. The most beautiful man I have ever seen has been on contract at my work as an electrician. Is it wrong to date someone who is temporarily a co-employee? (I don't date fellow workers ever)
How do I find out if he is single? or if I stand a chance? How do I find out his name even. He says hi and smiles when ever I see him and it makes me so happy. What do I do? How do I let him know Im interested without being to obvious about it? I dont want to make a fool of myself.

You need a respectable AND respectful man. He's an electrician so if he's married, he's probably not wearing a ring, (safety issue). Don't go by that.

Smart staying out of dating co-workers. good move.

Small talk him. If he's in a relationship, you'll catch on. Find out what his week-end plans are. If he bowls, find out if his team needs a stand-by. If he scuba dives, tell him you've always wanted to learn. If he tells you that he is attending a Star Trek or comic book convention, run like hell.

I'm guessing you work in the office. Spy, dammit. Get the accounts payable person to pull his tax withholding and see if he's got insurance taken out for a family.

or....just ask.

If you want him, you should be friendly, smile, and let him know you're interested. That's the easiest way to find out if the guy might want to go out with you. Just smile and ask him out. If he says no, wait a few weeks, stay friendly, smile and ask him out again...

He will appreciate the effort whether he goes out with you or not.

I don't think it's possible to make a fool out of yourself if you're showing sexual interest in a man.

Just ask if he's single and would like to go out. Easy. Just don't be a dope and sleep with him w/o making sure he really IS single.

Since he will be your coworker only temporarily, there should be no problem. Just make every excuse you can to talk to him ... often. If he doesn't get the message before his last day, just ask him out. He'll be gone the next day, so if he says "no," there is no embarrassment. Good luck!

actually the biggest turn on for a guy is if he finds out that its really apparent that someone likes him. its the biggest thrill for a guy. you might have to go out on a ledge but the nervousness will be over very soon and you'll feel good about yourself.

just ask," hey what your name? hey (insert name) are you single?"
and if he pauses for a second, say "I take that as a yes"

Just start a conversation with him and find out what his name is. once you start talking you will find out if he is married. If the conversation goes well, ask him out who cares.
