you can take any regular birth control pill, but only take the first 3 rows (last row is sugar pills..causes period) if you start a new pack right away, and always take the active pills only, your period will stop.

I've had an IUD in for more than 2 years (after 6 kids). It's the only BC I've found effective and I've only had 2 periods since it was put in. Never gained any weight like with other forms of BC either!! Don't have to worry about it either like taking a pill every day or getting a shot on time every 3 months!!

There's also a brand of birth control pills, Seasonale, that's marketed specifically to stop your period. It works just like the regular pill, except there are just a few placebo pills, and you only get 4 periods a year.

Having a period is a natural way of your body cleansing itself. It's also a indicator of several health issues to not have periods. (Other than chemically causing it) That's why your body will stop having them during times of EXTREME stress. It's not natural to not have a period. You are messing with hormones and chemicals and I just don't trust it.
