Mi hija Areli no fue ala escuela porque estube en el hospital y no pude llevarla a la escuela como no tengo quien me allude por eso no fueron.

I'm working on entering excuses for absentees in school. I came to work on a Saturday because I needed to catch up. I came across this one and I don't speak spanish very well and I would really appreciate it if someone could translate. Thanks!!!

The person who wrote it is probably not well educated because there are several grammatical errors, but this is exactly what your note says: "My daughter Areli didn't go to school because I was in the hospital and I wasn't able to take her to school as I don't have anyone to help me and for that reason they didn't go."

I have a Master's degree in Spanish, so rest assured that this is a correct and precise translation (even though the writer probably meant to say "she didn't go" at the end instead of they).

Good luck (buena suerte)!

My spanish isn't very good, either, but it sounds to me, like it saying, something to the effect of: Unless, you have a doctor's note or have been to the hospitol, you need to go too school.. School is important,,and for no excuses, should anyone miss school.. Hows' that for a white girl? Ha! Ha! I did have a step-mom who was a "Latina, and my best-friend of many years, who I learned a little about spanish from... But, I'm not sure if I got it all right.. So, double-check, with the spanish/english answers better.. Good-Luck!!!

My daughter Areli did not go to school because I was in the hospital and I couldn't take her to school because I don't have anyone who can help me. For that reason she didn't go.

I think this is what was trying to be said, but there are some errors. Hope this helps

The Spanish has some mistakes, many native speakers have poor written Spanish....I would guess that the writer hadn't spent many years in school.
The note says:
My daughter, Areli, didn't go to school because I was in the hospital and I couldn't take her to school because I have no one that helps me. That's why she didn´t go.

I don't think the spanish is properly formed. Or it may just be a limitation with verb tenses of the translator at "Babel Fish". Go there and try it to get the gist of the phrases.

Go to Yahoo Widgets and download the Mini-translator program for free, it's good most of the time.

I think it is "my daughter didnt go to school because she is in the hospital something to school for i can't bring her to school" or something like that. i only took spanish for 1 year so i am really sorry if i am completely off.
