I'm constantly itching below, but I don't have any discharge. The dr. said I have vulvodynia, but I know I don't have it. I'm not responding to any kind of treatments. It usually gets worse around my period.

This could be hormonal. You should try some vagisil.

i think u need another dr. sosunds like he doesnt know what he is talking about. first of all, I was on the Depo shot. take the IUD INSTEAD of Depo. with depo u will gain wait, periods missing. u r not in Menapause when u have all the time to miss your periods. Besides. I am not kidding. ask someone else if depo shot is really a horse tranquilizer. I kid u not. just dont take the depo. I actually took the pill most of my years, then over 35 yrs came and I smoke, so I had to go to Depo. Thats also why your Dr. doesnt want u on it either. Good luck

You probably have a yeast infection. Go to your local drug store and look in the isle where they have the condoms, tampons, and such. Find some kind of yeast infection cream. Good luck to you. Try posting this in "Women's Health" section, they may be able to help out more!

what makes you think your dr is lying? get a second opinion, then. you may have a yeast infection...who knows . see another doctor now!!!
