Why is it that after I take a shower my hair becomes a frizz ball? :-( I dont know what to do. I have naturally oily hair, should i use less conditioner? I just use paneten prov shampoo and conditioner for sleek hair, it doesnt work.

Girls at school have incredible hair, i dont know what to do. I dont even curl my hair because im scared it'll be a friz ball for weeks.

Any suggestions?

If i don't put product in my hair, it looks terrible....so i know the feeling. but it's easy to get a nice look. start off with good quality shamppoo's + conditioners, and make sure to do a deep conditioning mask once a week at least. I reccoment Joico K-Pak(leave on for 1/2 an hour to an hour for best results under a shower cap). if your hair is too oily, only put conditioner through middle to ends and not the roots. Then, if you want smooth sleek straight hair, get a straightening product that also has heat protection in it. It's ok to mix and coctail products for great resluts. I use Loreal Hot Straight with John Frieda frizz control serum ( you only need a little bit of this). blow dry with a paddle brush and then straghten with a ceramic straightening iron. make sure you use the right amount of product for your hair length/thickness or it could leave it too flat or frizzy if you dont use enough. strathening helps a lot, and for curly hair use a diffuser for nicer curls with a curl product like 'curls rock', and also the john frieda serum(good for frizz).
good luck! remember with all the products you must use an anti residue shampoo once a week to get rid of build up. when i straighten my hair i usually leave it for a day or two so i dont have to wash my hair and damage it too much.

Well first of all product quality counts. I like Bed Head and Biologe. In the shower shampoo as normal and rinse it out. Then condition your hair and leave it in there. Throw a towel in the microwave and get it really hot. Then wrap your hair in it for about 15 minutes the steam will absorb and go rinse your hair out. It will be baby soft! Good luck hun

When you blow dry your hair put it on a low setting and hold it above your head where it would blow straight down on your hair, brush it straight down, then roll it in large rollers or use a curling iron but only to iron it down but dont roll it, sort of iron it down, this works for me. If I let my hair air dry it curls and frizzes.

Rinse your hair with cold water, it makes it shinier.
