it all comes down to personal choice if you chose to have sex while you have your period.
in some cultures, a womans menstrual blood is considered an aphrodesiac.
try having sex in the shower with your partner for the first few times until you are totally confortable with what you are doing.
once you are ready to have sex on a bed with your periods, make sure you lay down a towel incase there is any mess.
as for pregnancy, i heard that there is a lower chance of getting pregnant, however, i still think that this method should not be used as a form of contraception. make sure you use condoms or the pill

Unless your body is irregular - you CAN NOT get pregnant during your period. There is a 24 to 48 hour window each month when your body can get pregnant - during ovulation. Once your period starts - the egg has already attached to the uterine lining that gets expelled during menstration. Even if the egg were to get fertilized it's attached to a lining that is being expelled. Therefore it isn't going to result in pregnancy.
I do suggest the shower though. Much cleaner.

It's ok to have sex while on your period. However it is messy so I suggest laying an old towel or sheet under you. Or have sex in the shower. The changes of getting pregnant are slim but there is still a risk of getting pregnant.

You can have sex while on your menstrual, if that is cool between you and your partner. Its rumored to even help with cramping. I don't know personally. You can get pregnant while going so. The higher rate comes into play with your individual eggs/sperm.

I would say you would have less of a chance to get pregnant since you are not ovulating, but not impossible. It may be A LOT more enjoyable for you, and a little more slippery for him, so he might like that too. Put a towel underneath you to avoid a big mess, ans less messy after the heaviest day.

To the best of my recollection from Sex-Ed in High School (a LONG time ago!) is that your 'period' is the flowing out of the lining which builds once a month for the possible sperm-meets-egg, which then nests itself into this lining for it to grow into a fetus. When the lining washes away (your period), it's taking the egg (that was not met with sperm) with it.
Pregnancy occurs when sperm meets the egg while the lining is there (?!).
Your doctor is your best source for this information, of course...

No it is not ok to do that. You will be pushing the broken down stuff that comes out back into your uterus where you can get an infection. Women have periods for a reason. you can wait a few days. you can still get pregnant(you can have a period for an old egg and still ovulate a new egg). the human body is incredible and unpredictable

You can still get pregnant...but it's a small chance.
Also, even though it can be messy...it's very enjoyable. The best way to go about it is if you have sex in the shower...usually when you're in the shower or in water your flow isn't as heavy.

No, i wouldn't recommend it because it's really messy. It all depends on how you feel doing it,how long you been with that person and if the partner dosen't mind.If you are get in the shower and then do it when you get out. Slows down things a bit.
