It's the people sitting behind me at the tables that are spreading across the aisle but I'm the one who's asked to move forward when some one wants to get by. I can't, it's a solid bar in front of me unlike the tables where the knees can go under. (Same height seats at the bar and tables) PS. They do it to anyone sitting at the bar, not just me.

There is plenty of room to get to the bar even with people sitting there and the reason I don't sit at a table is twofold. 1. I prefer to leave the tables for people who are in company so they can all sit together and 2. as soon as I stood to go to the bar someone would sit there anyway. Gender doesn't have any thing to do with it. To me it seems they're afraid to ask someone sitting in a group so the sole person at the bar is the one they pick on. (Answered my own question there didn't I?)

It would seem that customers requiring to be served are unable to get to the place where they can attract the barstaff's attention, and be served. After all, since not that many pubs provide table service in the UK, one does have to be able to reach the counter, and obstructing others from being served is not particularly desirable.
Often wonder what would happen if I went into a Post Office to buy a stamp, and then insisted on staying at the counter whilst I wrote the letter.
Let's keep space at the bar for everyone wanting to get a drink!!

apart from anything else you standing doesn't give that much extra space compared to someone in a table - the bar management should leave enough space so you dont need to be asked to move

Could be that there are less people at the bar so it feels less intimidating to ask those people to move than a large group

I do trust that in case you wanted to bypass your existence ahead, you need to have your own initiative. In my case, i do not remember from human beings for i do have my personal initiative. i do not watch for others to imagine of it yet on my own loose will and volition, i do my section. Initiative is a serious personality of someone. I see fulfillment in existence once you've it. or you proceed to be stagnant perpetually because you develop right into a predator. by employing nature, we are not predators yet fairly we as human beings are endowed with causes and hence might want for use at our income. thanks for aksing. Have an staggering day!

its just cos they are standing at its easier to ask them 2 move than a table of people.
Body language also says alot so standing u can tell more whereas sitting its abit harder.

rudeness.
but you didn't mention how big your boobs were.......maybe the guys just want to get a closer look.
you could try getting them with a knee or spilling a drink on them, they'll get the idea and go a different way. or cough on them......

why don't you solve the problem, get their earlier, and take a table and order something, that way no one will have a problem with you all.
