If you go to planned parenthood they will give it to you for free... you have to fill out a bunch of paperwork and stuff and they'll ask about your insurance but you can just say that for "privacy reasons" you dont wanna go through your insurance... if your under 18 they dont have to call anyone--thats what they are there for-- they will need a person to contact in an emergancy (if you have a friend that has a cell phone, give them their number *they rarely call its like a 1 in 1million chance that they'll call* ) just go there and talk with them and just get the info... they also have a new plan passed by the government where you can get it 100% free... they will give it to the day of your appointment : : : : :oh, and in case you dont have it, the number for planned parenthood is 952 890 0940 (thats the number for the one in minnesota but you can call it and get it for wherever you live...) you can email me if you have any other questions: bloraine4499@hotmail.com and just put "BC advice" in the subject line...

The only over the counter birth control is condoms and spermicides. I don't think that you have to be 18 to go and get on the pill. They will give you condoms for free but the pill costs.

Usually Planned Parenthood will give birth control pills free if there is no income. No you don't have to be over 18 and they do not cll your parents. I believe that they do give out free condoms

They will give you condoms, but I don't know about calling your parents before giving you the pill.
I don't think they should give you the pill if you are under 18 without talking to your parents because it is a medication with side effects.

Planned Parenthood advocates abortion. Abortion is murder. You are killing that child. If somone can be charged with two murders for killing a pregnant woman than abortion is murder. Call a girl's parents. She shouldn't be out having sex without her parents know ing anyway. If a minor cannot sign a medical release than they should not be able to get birth control without their parents knowing. And yes I am serious; so this is a serious answer.

Depends on where you live. In the UK if you are over 16 the doctor/patient confidentiality kicks in - and indeed without checking, I believe in this scenario age does not matter, the doctor will keep silent.

abstinence is the best (and safest) birth control. Wait until you're married and then you'll never have to tell your parents. ;-)
