No and no one truly does.
First, if your reading the Bible in English you are reading a tainted translation. You need to study Ancient Hebrew and Ancient Greek and go to a lot older sources.
I sat down with 7 different Bible versions and went through the entire Genesis. Took me several months. Verse by verse. Bible by Bible.
The first things I threw out was the Living Bible. Total trash, so it became 6 Bibles after the first month.
Next thing I read was all the books BANNED by Constantine. Some don't seem to fit the Bible, some do.
About 100 books were BANNED in 3AD by Papal Bull.
King James had about 20 books removed from the First KJV and the Second KJV.
Let's take an example.
Mystery Babylon
In MOST Bibles it is EMPHESIZED
MYSTERY BABYLON
The Original Greek Codex and text has NO object that allows for this, thus the EMPHESIS was added during translation.
The original Greek is
mystery Babylon
Plain and simple.
That can change intepretation.
Do you have a side by side Greek and English Bible?
Do you read Ancient Greek.
I've dealt with Bible study people who have such Bibles, they are readily available for about $40
Let's take another example
There is a new Codex that says the number of the mark of the beast is 616 not the traiditional 666.
This new Codex is in hot debate.
If another similar Codex is found elsewhere it would put that number into doubt.
You have to admit that 616 and 666 are vastly different and thus are interpreted differently.
YOu also have to remember the Catholic Church kept the Bible out of the hands of everyone except Priests until around 1400 AD when the Protestant movement translated it from Greek and Latin into Enlgish, German, Swedish and other languages and made it available to the common man.
The Catholic church countered by 1600 allowing the Guetenberg translation, a Catholic approved translation, to be distributed.
Thus we have only been reading the Bible since 1400 AD and are reading late translations often Politically motivated and basedon CAtholic censored editions.
Thus, unless you go back to the Original Source in the original language and few complete Bibles exist prior to 3AD, you don't know what you are reading for sure!
You are aware, for example, there is a Romans II and a Romans III but these were NOT approved by the Papal Bull and thus they aren't found in very many Bibles.
If you want to know more about the real truth, you need to go study at any Greek Orthodox church where the Bible is closer to what was around in 3 AD
AND you need to go study in a JEwish Synogouge, where the Torah is more complete to at least what Jesus studied from.

I have read and studied the bible for years, and many things were not answered right away and some things are still not understood by myself.
I will be reading it and studying it until my last breath.
That being said, there are many things in the bible that I do understand, and those things that I do understand, I am not afraid to share with others who ask.
If I do not know the answer to a question, I simply do not answer it. I find it silly to answer with an I dont know.
God is something that I understand 100 percent. He created the heavens and the earth and us all for his pleasure and his Glory.
As humans we have a problem being someone elses creation. It, however does not change the fact that we belong to him as every other thing ever created does also.
Now about detail and God. If you are married you will be able to understand this analogy. My husband is very real, I can see and touch him and hear him. I, however, will never know every detail of how his mind works and what he is thinking and why he is thinking it. God is no different, we cannot "know" all about him.

God and the Bible are both fakes. There is not one single matter discussed in the Bible out of the many thousands of issues raised that has been proven true, yet many matters have been proven false.
You don’t really need to be a rocket scientist to deduce with practically 100% certainty that God and the Bible are fake.
Who on Earth told you that God exists?
Did your parents tell you that God existed, or your teacher, or preacher, or did you read it in the Bible, or did you just wake up one day and discovered God existed?
Science doesn’t know yet if the universe was created or not. However, if we assume the universe was created, then it’s reasonable to assume there was a creator. That’s as far as science has progressed today. Some of the best brains in the world just don’t know.
Religious people don’t say we hope God exists, and we hope God is good, they state that God definitely does exist and then go on to provide a whole list of supporting evidence they call facts. So if science doesn’t accept religious evidence that God exists, when did you first realise God existed and what supporting evidence do you have if any?
Religious people should stop telling lies, and learn to admit the truth. Religious people don’t know if God exists, they only hope that God exists and the rest of their so called supporting evidence of God’s existence is nothing more than man-made speculative conjecture and wishful thinking – commonly referred to as lies.
So why do religious people lie? They do it for money, power and control of gullible minds, which makes religion evil

Of course not! I will say, however, I have a far better understanding than most people. I have tried to harmonize Scripture with religion, science, history, government, business, personal relationships and God. As a result I have been somewhat successful in corresponding with other people and getting them convinced about some pieces of the puzzle.
There is so much to learn and so many ways to go into error. God help us all to reach our spiritual home. Peace be with you.

Yes, of course I understand it. I've studied it since the age of 9 and if I can't understand it, I know of people who are more than happy to explain that part to me.
Even the Book of Revelation at Chapter 1:3 says "Happy is he that reads aloud and understands these words . . . "
And no, without divine guidance you cannot connect the dots or the scriptures in the Bible. Otherwise its just verse after verse with little way of figuring out how to show how things connect.
Good fortune.

Powerful Member of the House of Light.
What a presumptuous and pompous name.
No. I don't understand the Bible 100% but you have to admit that some Christians may understand it better than you.
What about Swedenborg's theology? It is better than any I have ever read before.

True Christians understand God's word better than anyone else as God is blessing them with knowledge because they honestly are doing their best to adhere to the word of God. However, not all things have yet to be revealed by God, He reveals things to his faithful and discreet slave(Matthew 25:45-47) as is necessary, this is stated in His word. Even the disciples of Jesus did not understand all the things Jesus was teaching, he needed to explain many things to them and told them that when the Holy Spirit arrived it would reveal all the things to them he was teaching them. 1 Corinthians 13:12 ; For at present we see in hazy outline by means of a metal mirror, but then it will be face to face. At present I know partially, but then I shall know accurately even as I am accurately known. Daniel 12:8,9,10 ; Now as for me, I heard, but I could not understand; so that I said: "O my lord, what will be the final part of these things?" And he went on to say: "Go Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of the end. Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will certainly act wickedly, and no wicked ones at all will understand, but the ones having insight will understand." As you can see by these Scriptures, not even those who God was using understood at the time what they were being taught or told but things would be revealed at a later time to those having insight, or ones doing the will of God as the wicked would not understand. Brenda's World and any like this are a good example of the Scripture from Daniel don't you think?

i don't think any person walking on the earth today knows all there is to know. I do believe that one day we will have the chance to ask God then we will understand. as for getting mad, talking about the Bible should not get and believer mad. If someone makes a comment that we don't approve of ,we can research and PRAY

sorry dude, I missed the last question, wish I could have gotten in on it.
I do have a pretty good understanding of the bible. I don't pretend to know 100% of it. but I do understand the importance of the Old Testament, and have found many many gems in it that make my heart leap for Joy. it is still as current as the new testament, still important, and have found a great love for it. Do I understand it and God 100%. there is no one on the planet who does my friend. if you would like refrences to that statement please ask, as this rant is getting kinda long.

I have repented, been baptized in Jesus' Name, and been filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). Most people I talk to cannot even understand simple principal like one scripture after years of study. If I do not understand, then the Holy Ghost in me has the answers. After all, He wrote it.
