is it too earliy to ask someone to a school dance when you've only known them for about a month... I am not sure if she likes me... I stare at her all the time, and if she sees me stare at her, she smiles a shy looking smile. Does she like me, or is she being friendly? Should I ask her to the dance? How would you like to be asked if you where to be asked?

Just go for it.
If she smiles at you while u stare
then that's obviously a good sign

Just ask her to the dance, and if she says yes, then she likes u! It's alright if u haven't known her for a long time, and besides, this is ur chance to get to know her more! And when u go ask her out, be nice and don't get nervous and tounge-tied. Just say "Hi, (her name here) would u go to the dance w/me?" or something along those lines. If she says no, then try to be friends w/her first, and it might turn into a relationship in the future! Hope this helps! =D

You said you have known her for a month so I guess that means the both of you talk then right? well simply tell her you were thinking about going the upcoming dance but it just wouldn't be the same if you if you couldn't have her there with you. Or you can simply say (so and so) I would like to take you to the dance, got plans? good luck with this.

A month isn't too early. It would be a good idea to just ask and see what happens. I would've really liked that in 8th grade. You don't need to make a big deal about how to ask, just ask. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure she knows you like her...that's a shy girl's way of saying she likes you too. lol...girls think things through much more than guys do, so it's most likely that she's at least CONSIDERED that you might ask her. make her dream come true lol
