think of Abraham, Think of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego...The question is to reveal your motive for serving God.
Is it for the reward? For the Pleasure of heaven? For the social acceptance? Because you were raised to?

Or do you serve God out of LOVE, because it is the right thing to do?And are you willing to do whatever God says even if you do not Understand.

"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done..."

Remember the Messiah in the garden said..."Never the less, not My will, but Thy will be done"

I will get into it more if you contact me.

Gob bless you according to your faith.

Do you serve out of fear or out of LOVE?

Christ does not simply call us to serve, He calls us into relationship with Him.
Therefore my answer would have to be out of Love rather than Duty.
Christ made it clear to me that my duty was worthless because without His Grace I myself would never reach Salvation. So I could jump through hoops my whole life, yet without simply accepting His loving sacrifice for me, it would all be for nothing.
That is the essential difference between Christianity and all other World Religions.
False Religions assume that if mankind just try hard enough, just Pray enough, just roll in th dirt enough, just kill enough Infadels, just fast enough, just do this, just do that...Somehow within our own power we will reach God and He will somehow "Owe" us for our loyalty.
Look at it this way, a god that I can manipulate into granting me eternal life, isn't god at all.
No, Christ offers Eternal Life on His terms alone. He gets the Glory, not me or anyone else. I didn't even seek Him first, He had to make the first move, so I lay claim to nothing.
He simply offered and I stretched out my hand in humility and accepted.
Allah takes, Buddah takes, Krishna takes.....Christ gives.

If I had a choice would I go to hell, and God would be glorious for casting my Soul into hell ? SO IF-- If God had decided that I was not worth saving and I had been a terrible sinner, with no repentance and I was a total lost cause . Then God would not give me a choice. If you read scriptures, we have many wonderful choices before we die. It is up to us, how we live and Gods children know right from wrong. But if God gave me a second chance, and said, that I must change my ways or go to hell, I would change my ways. I know for sure God would not recieve Glory for loosing one of His children, and He would cry. But by him forgiving me and letting me have a second chance, I would be humbly and forever grateful. I would do as He says, and let him know that I was truely dedicated to him , from now on. I would walk the STRAIGHT AND NARROW , FOR HIM AMEN !!

Now that I'm sober, I'll give this a shot, lol.

It sort of sounds like that story in the bible where God asked that man (I'm crap with names) to sacrifice his son on a mountain, and when he got really close to plunging the dagger into his son's heart, God stopped him and said that he had passed the "test".

Given that scenario, if you were a Christian and God told you to literally go to Hell, then I guess the prudent thing to do would be to pack your bags--He'd probably come get you out, I guess.

This isn't a tough question, it is a fallacious one, a non sequitur.

Hell is the absence of God. You do not glorify God by being completely absent of him. In doing that you would only serve to glorify Satan by depriving God of a soul that he dearly loves.

There would be no glory for GOD is casting any soul to Hell. "If" is a little word with big meaning.

Go to hell. At least I would be with the good Christians, and (according to the fundis) with Athiests, Agnostics, Buddists, Pagans....lol they are more fun than the fundis anyway.

Well I dont believe in god, souls, or hell.

If a god did exist, I'd slap her around for being such a compassionless jerk.

God is JUST, he is THE GLORIOUS -already- He is also Fair and Most Merciful. He would not enjoy the suffering of his people!! The answer to your question, we do not have a choice of what God may will. so if he wants us to go to hell, it will be!

It's not a hard question, it's truely a foolish question.

We are worth a Son to God.
