Your hair would certainly not become longer, no matter what you put on it. Hair grows at about half an inch per month (it varies according to your genes, diet and a few other factors), and there's no changing that. All external conditioners can do is improve the condition and texture of your hair. Having said that, damaged hair splits and does not grow at all, so it is important to keep your hair in good condition. But I wouldn't recommend mustard! Use a good shampoo and conditioner. You might also want to try deep conditioning treatments, hot oil treatments and spray in condioner. If you're still keen on the home-remedies thing, then beer is a good condioner, and olive oil kept in place with cling film work! hope this helps take care x

i have not heard of such a thing . there are home remedies for making your hair better but as for mustatrd i dont know i would gove it a try in a little section of your hair but dont do it every day , the longer part i dont think so be sure you rinse it really well to if you have light colored hair dont leave it 15 min check it in 2 cause if your hair is porous it could soak up the yellow of the mustard and it could leave it smelling like vinegar

If you put mustard in your hair each day, you will probably have shiny hair, and yes, it would become longer.
It isn't the mustard that would do it. The oils that the mustard are disolved in would make your hair shinier. Your hair would get longer on its own.

hair grows from the inside out...I've yet to see any topical remedy do a thing, with exception Rogain...that does work for some people. Mustard? Never heard that one before! Best way to have your hair grow is to eat healthy foods.

I don't know who told you that but I would tell them if they put some ketchup on theirs and it will make it shine like gold.
