Kill it!

first of all, you're pregnant and you don't need to be stressing yourself out! If he want to act silly, then let him go and move on! Right now, the baby should be the most important thing to you! He knows that he has a responsibility now and he may be a little scared! There are two ways that you can look at the situation: He may be trying to come up with ways to be there for you and the child and doesn't know how to deal with it right now! Sometimes, a man that becomes distant ends up being very very responsible once they come to terms of the fact that they're about to be a father! On the other hand, he may be upset because he's not ready to be a father and he's trying to come up with excuses! Give him time and try to talk to him about the baby! See what's on his mind and how he feels about everything! You may be blowing things out of proportion, but always remember that a mother has to be there for the child regardless! So, the best thing for you to do is make sure you and the baby are fine and that everything is working out for the two of you!! He'll come around and if he doesn't, HIS LOSS!!

This depends on how he is acting. If he's acting mean, that's probably not a good sign, if he's acting just differently, it could be a signal of nervousness, or stress. The best thing to do would be to sit down and talk to him about everything, and make a decision from there.

Did you plan the pregnancy?
Men tend to get nervous at the thought of a baby, try to involve him in the planning to ease his thoughts, sit down together and read articles on the stages of pregnancy, discuss what type of birth you want, get a book on names and together write a few down that you both like.
My poor husband suffered with me, as I bought pregnancy books and constantly reffered to them, even quoted them, He called them my "Bible".
In general, involve him more about the pregnancy stages, the labour, and after birth, choosing colours, a theme for the room, the curtains, the cot. Men have a tendency to see us as fragile when we are pregnant, they are scared they will harm the child.
Maybe the responsibility of a child that is a life long commitment is the most scaring thought of all to him.

If he is a responsible guy, he is going to marry you even without you telling him. But don't push your boyfriend into marrying you because you're pregnant. Let him have a free choice. But if he does not have that good committment of taking care of you. Better start saving your day for the future. Know what I mean.

Well that does not surprise me at all that he is not acting the same, You've just told him that he 's going to be a dad.

He's probably really concerned with what the furture will hold for him, he's probably very nervous,

You need to convince him that everything is going to be alright, Tell him that you really need his help, and that your looking forward to eventually getting married and having a family,

This is coming from a guy

Find out how he REALLY feels about you, then find out why he is acting the way he is.

The only thing to do is to talk to him about how he is feeling. I'm sure that he is prolly going through just as many emotions as you are right now.
