You 'keep them' by allowing businesses to hire them, usually as day labor. Once legislation (and enforcement) clamps down on businesses, they'll be gone. But as we have recently seen with the national immigrant day, they are an important part of our economy. From construction to baby-sitting, we'd be hurting without them. Another tatic for keeping them 'in,' is to convice large companies to build factories outside the U.S., say in the Northern reaches of Mexico near the Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California borders. When they find jobs there, they're not likely to make the trek across the border. Yet this question is rarely asked. Most people are doing their best to keep illegal aliens 'out' of the United States. Hence, take most of the above, and get to work on it. Just remember, they're human beings, too. And they're only here to make a living for their families. They're basically good people. It's the U.S. citizens that need working on.

Well Mr Kerry you are confused. If you want to keep illegals in here you need to keep Bush. He likes to keep them here for his corporations to have cheap labor, so they do not have to pay Americans all the benefits Americans are entitled to. So if you think Illegals are good you need to be pro Bush.

Illegals do the work that you don't want to do. I just wish that all of us (immigrants) would have the courage to up and leave the US, all of us and then i'd like to see what would happen do the "most powerful nation in the world". YOU NEED US!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to keep putting up Filibertos and Rolibertos and Alibertos taco shacks on every corner so that they have food.
Then every english speaking American needs to learn Spanish fluently to help them assimilate to our culture.
After that we need to help them run down our economy and destroy our neighborhoods so that it looks more like a 3rd world country so that they feel comfortable and at home.

uhh no...illegals are doing us more harm than good. the hours of construction they do does not matter to the govt when they are paying no income taxes. not to mention sending their non-taxed salaries home to family fairly often. also, why would you say that america is bad? i agree our current foreign policy is terrible, but America is a good nation.
