I did once when everyone was clapping for something I had done well. Problem was when I clapped as well I was on stage in full view!

Thank you for making me laugh out loud!! You brought back some funny memories - yes I have clapped for myself, I think I just got swept up in the moment! I've also stood up for a toast when I was the one being toasted - 5 years ago and I've still not lived it down!

Ha! Don't worry though it's a nervous reaction and quite normal... Just watch contestants on TV quiz shows - they clap themselves every two minutes.
