Our older Golden is "trained." She went to obedience training and was top of her class. Didn't matter. She still gets crazy when we have company. My Goldens are my children. I make it very clear to guests: They will jump on you. They will kiss you. You will get hair all over you no matter where you sit. They live here, you don't. Would you like to come in? It REALLY helps keep the annoying inlaws away!

Well, here are two ways to do it. Before your guests come take your dog a a very long walk, so she will be tired when your guests come. Second, if that doesnt work then reward her. What i mean is have her sit down and relax and if it works, reward her. She will get. She will know that if she is calm then she will get a rewrd.

You might want to try putting her in a Doggy cage, you can get one at petco, or any pet store, or put her in a different room!

She could just be overexcited about new people, or friends or yours. Give her time, and have people over more. She just needs to get use to new faces, or friends.

you can call the dog whisperer or someone like him (they are like dog trainers who help dogs who are mean or who have odd behaviors)
