Flu has to run its course. The best thing you can do is rest and try to drink whatever liquids most appeal to you; herb tea and chicken broth are good and have some healing properties. Even when you start to feel better, you may find you tire out really quickly. With a bad case of the flu, it can take 1-2 weeks before you are fully functional and up to a month before your energy levels are fully recovered. The best advice I can give you is to accept that you are really sick and your body can only recover if you let it rest. Hope you start to feel better soon.

My flue was blocked tonight, had to get on the roof in the dark and clean out because the house was full of smoke.

if you have influenza, the 'flu, take neurophen cold and flu tablets, they dont fix it but make you feel better till the flu runs its course.

Sleep and chicken noodle soup or warm tea. Actually my mom used to get us ginger ale and mix it up to get all the carbination out of it and give us a glass of that when we got sick. It always calmed my stomach.

Hope you feel better soon.
