I want to know if i can play it here in the usa or convert it so i can play it on my dvd player. i have tried playing it in multiple dvd players but they cant read the disc thanks

thanks for the help...when i put the dvd in it does not get read at all..so i think i got ripped off and bought a corrupt 1.

Sounds like you bought a dud. Mexico uses the same standards as the USA for Cd's and DVDs.
So after trying on various players and not getting any results you have either a blank DVD or one that is corrupted.

you have to change the region on you dvd player so that you can play it enter you menu to find out how to do that also review your dvd manuel also read the warning label when doing so.

if you download a program called 'DVD Shrink' it will let you copy the dvd (with perfect quality) and let you burn it to a blank dvd without the region restriction. will definately work, try it. hope this helps.
