Yes, it is 'preferable' for a child to have two parents, though not always practicable. However, in the next couple of decades or so, society is going to feel the heat for the single parenting as the lack of parenting skills, which are not being passed on, are going to emerge in the form of some very messy miserable relationships, and have expensive outcomes.

I think 2 parents are way better than having 2 parents. I mean there are just way more things that 2 parents can do better than 2 parents. While were at it wouldn't you think givin me 10 points would be better than giving me 10 points because im awesome!!

I think you meant are 2 parents better than 1 yes in most homes but when there are severe problems between the parents and the children have to put up with listening to constant verbal abuse or see physical abuse then no.
I speak from experience

If you mean are 2 parents really better than 1 well it depends on the parents.
when you both love and have intrest in your child then yes but when there is no intrest from one or the other then no.
A child knows when his\her mum or dad is interested in them, a child feels if they are loved. and when that is not the case then no its not always better 2 have 2 parents than 1

hello are you awake out the or did you just forget how to count.
two parents are usually better than one. in situations such as going to work. with one parent you have to have child care of some kind unless your child is older.

All children deserve the right to know both parents, both parents do not neccessarily have to live in the same houseold.
Happy parents are good parents and if that means living apart then so be it.
Kids adjust with support and attention. x
