Getting married in a month- want to find a sample letter to give to him to read the night before our wedding (we'll be separated, of course)-- have used so many love letters here on the computer, and don't want to buy one--

also, I want to create a gift basket for him, I have a few things I know I'm putting in (his favorite candy, cologne), any other ideas?

Huh? Things must have changed since I got married. A sample letter? If you have something to say to him you merely write it out on paper (or just TELL him), in YOUR OWN WORDS! Why would you send him a letter the night before you get married? Like I say, things must have changed. As for the gift basket, well, that's another new one. Why is it necessary the night before the wedding for YOU to create a gift basket for him? This sounds odd and like you are focused about the WRONG things! Believe me, years from now these trivialities won't even be remembered.

I've never heard of buying a love letter - the whole point of love letters is that they express what's in your heart. If you need ideas, think about sharing some of your thoughts about how happy he makes you, some of the little things he does that mean a lot to you, your hopes for the wedding and your future together, how you feel when you look at him or think about him, etc.

What's important are the feelings that are there - the words you use to express yourself are less important. If he loves you, and I assume he does, he won't care how good your phrasing is. All he'll care about is that you took some time to write down some of your feelings. Don't worry about sounding cheesy or using the wrong words - none of that matters.

How about a passport cover that says "just married" or "groom" that he can use when you go away on your honeymoon? Or nickname boxers or pajamas to wear to bed the night before, or on your honeymoon? Try plumparty.com or redenvelope.com.

How about just finding a nice song for him to listen to that conveys your feelings? You can put the CD into the basket, and then type up the song lyrics onto some really nice paper (like the flower petal paper or vellum) with really nice font or handwrite it in nice cursive writing and put into the basket too? Try "Grow Old With Me" by Mary Chapin Carpenter.

Why would you want to use a form letter on your wedding day? Give him something on paper from your heart. It's as simple as that.
