Whenever I try and import a video file into Windows Movie Maker, it doesn't do it, it just says: Fatal Error: Please re-install NERO.
How do I get rid of that?

You must have had Nero software installed earlier. When you install Nero, it will ask if you want Nero to be the default software program for certain file types (e.g. mpeg 3 or wmv). If you say "yes" then the computer will use Nero to automatically open those file types. In your case, it seems you at one time installed Nero and then later decided to uninstall it. However, the file type association with Nero remained. If this is the case then you have one of two options. Option 1, you change the file type association using Windows Explorer. Option 2, you right-click the video file and use "Open with..." and choose Windows Movie Maker.

Option 1:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. On the menu bar, choose Tool > Folder Options > "File Type" tab > scroll down until you see the file type you are interested in and highlight it > click [Change] > choose the program you want as the default program > click [Apply] > [O.K.].
