I was watching Flavor of Love, and Krazy said that Beautiful had a cold sore on her lip. What is a cold sore, what does it look like, and how does someone else catch one?

It is a sore on or near the lip and a common form of the herpes virus. It's not a good idea to kiss or drink after someone that has one. Getting one, however, does not mean that you have herpes. Some people get them when they have colds or the flu.

It's herpes. You can catch it from anyone who has it. Kissing them on the lips with a cold sore will almost always result in a cold sore of your own.

The cold sores that I have had, have been on my lip. It was a big red bump extremely sore. I dont know how I got them because it was not from kissing or drinking after someone else.

like a gross blister usually by the mouth area caused by herpes and can spread if u kiss someone.
