If God made men with foreskins in the beginning, why does He command them to cut it off in the Bible? If God is all knowing... shouldn't He have known that later He would want men to cut it off. Why put it on there in the first place. That doesn't sound like intelligent design to me.

Jemmie 2004: Being circumcised really has nothing to do with personal hygiene... plenty of uncircumcised men are more conscious of their personal hygiene than some men who are circumcised. What part of my question remotely alluded to me asking if I should be circumcised or not? How about following your own advice and use your brain and completely read and understand the question before you answer it. FYI: I am circumcised.

God told told Abraham to snip of the foreskin and only a few generations there after Moses had to lead the Jews to the promised land. This trip to the promised land was a trip through harsh desert terrain and was 40 years long.

Now ask yourself: Do you want sand to get in there?

Of course he knew what he was doing. ROFLMAO. There is also a reason he made it to be done on the 8th day after a child's birth. Because that's when the "clotting factor" in the blood takes effect in a new-born infant. The circumcision was to show you were "not of this world" by the fact that you had this done to yourself. By circumcision you expressed yourself as belonging to God and no one else. That's why he put it there, so it would be something that would be a "public display of devotion" to him.

CHRISTIANS ARE "NOT REQUIRED TO DO THIS" INSTEAD THEY ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A CIRCUMCISION OF THE HEART!

Circumcision of the Heart

Circumcision of the heart was a divine requirement of even the Israelites who were already circumcised in the flesh. Moses told Israel: "You must circumcise the foreskin of your hearts and not harden your necks any longer." "God will have to circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, that you may love your God with all your heart and all your soul for the sake of your life." (Deut. 10:16; 30:6) Jeremiah reminded that wayward nation in his day of the same thing. (Jer. 4:4)

'Circumcision of the heart' means getting rid of anything in one's affections or motives that is displeasing and unclean in Jehovah's eyes and which makes the heart unresponsive. Similarly, ears that are not sensitive or responsive are spoken of as "uncircumcised." (Jer. 6:10; Acts 7:51).

The Bible even describes a "plants fruit" as its "foreskin." (Lev. 19:23) describing how planting a tree which would be "uncircumcised for 3 years" meaning it would not produce fruit for that long.

Don't blame God about wether foreskin is an intelligent design or not. All mammals got brain and most of them also got foreskin. As human, with this gift from God (your brain!) and after countless study that leaving foreskin not circumcised is not hygienic, why can't you use your brain and make your own choice wether you want to remain to be a not hygienic or hygienic. Stop blaming God for every simple thing like this. It only show that you can really use your brain to make a simple decision.

As far as I know, the only religion to advocate circumcision is the Jewish faith. Circumcision is totally unnecessary ...not to mention a BARBARIC practice.

Men never desired to cut it off. God required that as a sign of loyalty to Him. He gave us the choice to choose that.
If you are gonna knock I.D. you might want to research your complaint.
