When I was a teenager, I used to drink two to three gallons of milk a day. When I was very thirsty, it was very easy for me to go through a gallon of milk in less than an hour. My mum would be mad at me because she would generally have to go to the store every two days to buy five gallons of milk. Four for me and one for her and my brother, which would generally be finished off by me.

A gallon of milk can be consumed under 5 minutes if many people share it . Your question does not specify how many individuals are drinking it anyway .The gallon of milk can be downed under an hour also by a glutton, a patient suffering from bulimia or a giant.

it isnt impossible, a friend of mine at college used to bet people $100 to $10 that they couldnt drink a gallon of milk in an hour without puking, he lost twice in like four years. I think that for one thing the normal stomach isnt big enough to hold a gallon of milk, and since you cant digest it fast enough it will curdle there, expanding till it comes right back out your mouth. Maybe there are some really big people with really fast metalbolisms or something or take drugs to not puke i dont know, but he did lose a couple times. Ive picked my victims better, ive never lost, although i havent been paid the money several times, and got in a fight once.

Apparently you've given it the old college try.
The reason you should not eat too fast, and especially drink too fast, is processing time. In the case of cold drinks, that processing time is further distorted by the cramping of the stomach due to the cold. As your stomach cramps, its capacity is reduced considerably. So trying to drink a whole gallon of milk in a short time is tantamount to trying to refrigerate your stomach and its support muscles. They will object, and eventually rebel. And their rebellion is a messy, smelly thing, so don't challenge them.
Make friends with your digestive system. You're going to need that alliance for a long, long time. Take it from one who serves mostly as a bad example. If I knew when I was young what I know now . . . "Might have been" is such a tempting waste of time.

I've done it, and I know other people who have. Some people are lactose intolerant, so they couldn't do it. That depends much upon one's ancestry. I am a 320 pound powerlifter, so I've consumed large amounts of protein when I was gaining size. I read in an old barbell mag that Bruce Randall drank several gallons of milk daily and gained to 401 pounds in bodyweight. I could drink a gallon in one sitting when I was age 17.

Because milk fills you up really fast, though I did drink a gallon of milk when I was working out, it was awesome.

Yes it's possible. I've a friend who can consume 1.5 gallons
of beer under an hour. I'm sure he can also drink a gallon of
milk in or under an hour.

it's not, the task is keeping it down. I and others have done it but ur stomach is only about a half a gallon so u have to pace ur self so that it can acctually digest some of it. I would ask y can't u do it without throwing up afterward
