WYNNEWOOD, Pa. - Monsignor David Benz listened in anguish as a woman described how a parish priest sexually abused her two sons with the same hands he used to consecrate the body and blood of Christ. The woman's tale came in a meeting called by Cardinal Justin Rigali, who summoned hundreds of Roman Catholic priests in the Philadelphia Archdiocese to hear from the victims of clergy sex abuse. The victims offered sometimes graphic accounts of molestation and rape. "It was like sticking a knife in my heart," said Benz, 63, of St. Philomena church in Lansdowne. Victoria Windsor Cubberly spoke of repeated abuse by more than one priest and the suicidal thoughts and nightmares she suffers as a result. The mother of the two abused children, identified only by the first name Grace, talked about the lingering trauma the abuse inflicted on her entire family. "How did I not know? How did I not see it?" said Grace. See Yahoo news.

He will be punished by the law and punished worse in heaven.
There is no place for this kind of abuse.
I also hate it when a little league coach, teacher, uncle or aunt, neighbor, boss, baby-sitter, sports figure, Rabbi, Imam, Preacher, or parent does this.
There are bad people everywhere. This is not exclusive to the Priesthood.
Peace!

What happened in the past was wrong. The act was wrong and the response of the Church at that time was to imagine it never happened. I have to wonder why the parents did not go to the police the moment it occurred. If it happened to my children I would have called my lawyer and the police and pressed charges immediately.
I have to commend the Catholic Church's current efforts to bring this out in the open and to correct the problem to the best of their ability. They are even seeking out people who were abused years and years ago, and making the priest listen to the victims. Who else have ever done such efforts to point an accusing finger at themselves?

First of all those priests should be locked up. Second of all the Catholic church is not a Christian denomination, it is a completely different religion. The catholic beliefs have been twisted into beliefs not of the Bible. for example, homosexuals can rule in the church and they have let many disgusting men become priests. The Christian church has no say in what catholics do at all as I said they are not a christian denomination

It is disgusting. The Church can be corrupted by Satan and obviously has been. This is just Satan's way of tearing down God's Church and his followers. The priest's afore mentioned should be made to pay severly by the pope and the people but God will do it instead. Which is a far worse fate. Mortals and mankind can do no worse than God will let them. God will punish those priests and I hope He does so soon.

ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But it is especially sad when shepherds are caught abusing the sheep. The Lord will deal with them far more harshly than mankind can.

Shameful.
But notice that they are facing up to their faults, taking responsibility, trying to correct the situation and make sure it doesn't happen again.
What they are NOT doing is killing anyone who complains or demanding an apology for being brought to account.

This confirmed the fact that there are evil people in every religion. We should ignore the religion and just shoot the bastard.

Anyone can pretend to be someone else to be a perv. What's your point?
To answer your original question, it makes me sick. But what does this have to do with Jesus and who He said He is?
