I don't think America is the place where theocracy is the problem. Try the Middle East, the world's butt crack.

Do you mean United States?!
Hey fellows, America is much more than United States!
Anyway, theocracy is not a real problem (until now) in the American continent. But of course lot of dogmatic Christians, like Protestants and Anglicans in United States and lot of Catholics in Latin America, are usually in good political and decisions positions.
The irrational way of thinking (and an excellent way to control the population will) is scatter all over the world in these interesting times. “May you live in interesting times” is an ancient Chinese proverb, and of course times of a dangerous medieval faith revival (Islamic against Christians, crusade and jihad) are interesting times. Times for open eyes and be aware of the harmful of the “splendid thirteenth century mind” of the actual religious (and political) leaders.
For example, the revitalization of the creationism (erroneously named as creationism-science) in the United States is something to be worried. If the ‘empire’ would be pointing the new bearings, and these roads are in that directions is time react.

There is no theocracy in America... and as long as we defend The Constitution there will never be. I am of The Christian Faith... I will oppose any attempt to establish a theocracy in America. Look at islam...that is exactly what would happen if any "religion" controled by man took over.
We need to stop letting our enemies use our own laws against us. start by expelling all who follow islam out of this country... that is a "religion" that has openly decreed itslef to be our enemy...yet we continue to alow them to spread their hate for us even in our own country.
No one of The True Christian Faith would support such a notion as to try to take controle of America. It is the greatness of the liberties that are from our constitution that alow us to openly keep our Faith. many tens of thousands of Christians have died defending this country... and will continue to do so... We have many non-christian people of many other beliefs who also have done so and will do so...they to have no desire to institute any theocracy of their own... it is only islam that is openly decreeing they intend to destroy us... and to do so from within... and they are well on their way... with many deceived by their false "peacful"intentions.

talk to your neighbors and community folks around you
most of this happens like in Germany because people are not aware or do thier own research
the clincher? tell them the Pope will run the US or the US laws will match the Vatican and Bible...some will go for it...many will not
no theocracy represents the will of all the people, the very reason our founding fathers made that part of the 1st ammendment
freedom to worship, and freedom from others telling you how to or making it a law or states' job

There is no theocracy in America. There are politicians who will use religion as an excuse for some of their behavior, but they are not theocrats. They are statists.
Your question should be, "How can we fight statism in America?"

Make sure you know who you are voting for. Don't support any candidate who advocates ID in school, 10 commandments in courthouses, etc.
Unfortunately, other than that, there's not really much besides hope that the religious extremists in this country burn themselves out pretty soon.

Join groups like American Atheists. Put bumper stickers on your car. Wear atheist t-shirts. Keep our cause in the public eye whenever possible. Contact members of Congress to let them know our views. Keep a united front, as much as that is possible for those of us who tend to be independent thinkers.

Yes, it MUST be fought! BOTH the Islamofascists and christofascists must be defeated and their religion kept out of government.

There is no theocracy in America. America is probably one of the most secular societies in the world. America needs to be saved from secular humanism.
