I am a Christian, lets say I die and find out that the bible is a fake and there's no truth. All I have lost is a fantasy. But when you die, lets say the bible is true, what will you lose?

If you reject the bible as truth, then you hate God.

I don't hate God or Santa. I just don't believe in either of them. Are you aware that most atheists have heard of Pascal's wager before and we have discounted it as worthless?

I am not a God hater. In fact I would like to find out whether there is any God in this world or which religion's God is true. If I am a christian & after death I found out that the bible is a fake and there's no truth, I will loose the chance during lifetime to pursue a real religion which might lead me to heaven or nirvana in Buddhism's believe. I might go into reincarnation with my karma. If there is nothing after death, I might waste all my precious time in pursuing a fake religion. It might be better to use this precious time to do some meaningful thing during lifetime.

same answer I give the Life Insurance sales people

the benefit upon my death is others get my premium

I do not have a benefit yet but others convinced me to buy into it upon faith they will "pay out" and give me 'blessed assurance' to take care of self and others

if others are to benefit from my death and I will not, let them pay or by a policy

since I am confident that when I die this will not matter, I retain the peace of mind, I do not gain anything save salvation from life's daily struggle and conflict

if the Bible is true, pick which conflicting command or creed you are talking about like god saying let there be light after the stars in the sky as if stars were not producing light, or commanding a moon to give light when the sun is source and moon reflects

this points to ignorant man trying to pawn off stories to control others and put them in shackles of submission and rule them yet claim to be free in God or Christ

I already lost the "fantasy" when I see right now the bible and many of it's child stories are just that, like Santa and Oestre Easter bunny

all a tale meant to convey a message not literal truth

I will have lost nothing

Your question is called the "Pascal wager"
With all the different religions and gods in the world, what will happen to you when you die and you find out you prayed to the wrong god? I think the right god will be very angry at you! Your chance of praying to to right god is very small because there are so many. You may be the loser!

When you live and find out the Bible is true, it is even better! Why wait until you die?

aaahhhh but what if you die and find out that not only is the bible a lie but that something else, like paganism is the truth. and the pagan gods will not accept you because of the lifetime that you spent calling them demons?

this is not the mentality of the pagan gods (most of them at least)
but what if it were.

why can christinas not accept that there may be more than one path to a blissful afterlife, it just may not be with your paticular god?

your god says that if you want to go to his heaven that you have to follow his rules.

i have 300 gods that will gladly accept me to their lands after i die and they have similar rules,

so why is my truth not equal to your truth.

That argument is called Pascal's wager, it doesn't work. What if you're supposed to be worshipping Allah? You have just as much, if not more to lose than I do. Also, it's impossible for one to hate something that they don't believe exists.

I live for this life, not the next. Besides, I've gained, all the coolest people go to hell. I don't hate God, I just don't believe in it.

Atheists do not hate god. They just know that god is not real... science has proven that. When we die, maggots eat our bodies, whether we believe in god or not.
