This guy flirts then backs off. Whenever I try to get closer he backsoff. Will stare in your eyes for a long time. But then won't even look your way. If he is playing a head game why? And does he at least think you're cute? I mean this cycle just keeps going and going!!!

Lose that loser! Don't waste your time with someone who only wants to play games.
Can't answer "why" someone does that, as I've never understood that mentality. All I know is those people are worth wasting my time on. I'd rather give my time and attention to people who value me and who won't try to play head games with me.

Maybe you should play this stupid game back, the next time he tries to look into your eyes or flirts give him a shut down so he knows how it feels and also to know that you have respect for yourself and u wont let anyone play around with you. Then if he really was serious about it then he can make the choice to cut the games and be serious

He is playing head games, ignore him, guys like that won't be able to handle it when you don't look his way. If he should come over and ask why your ignoring him, tell him you're not into head games and back off. If he really wants to go our with you, he'll make himself clear at that time, if he doesn't No big loss.

Sounds like he doesn't know what he wants himself. The last thing you need is to get involved with someone who only has an interest in you on a whim. Look for consistency. If you don't see it - then you know it is just games. Maybe he just wants to see how long he can keep you interested. Don't waste your time.

He probably has someone he thinks you're cute and just likes to flirt with you next time he flirts don't give him any play act like you are not interested

HE enjoys leading you on.
Some people are insecure and need to know that people are attracted to them and want them, but are not interested in having relationships with them.
Some people in relationships need to constantly line someone else up incase something goes wrong but as long as they haven't technically done anything wrong - they don't feel like there is anything wrong with leading some one on.
In anycase this guy has shown he is not worth the trouble.

I do this all the time. It is because I'm not sure if I want a committed relationship and if the individual is worth the pressure of asking out. Just ask him if you like him. That may be the sealer.

Because he is immature.. Guys want one thing----sex---- and until they reach at least 25-30 and start to decide they want more out of life their games will remain... Be wise and use the guys for what you need and leave the emotions for when you meet mr right.. Honesty and lack of jealousey his sword and sheild..

That's his way of making you out of balance and confused. You might get frustrated, but I know some women that enjoys that kind of game. Chill out, relax, and enjoy the game.
