Should I wait before running again until the soreness completely subsides? Is it normal they they always get sore the day after running?

yes, especially if you have weak/fragile ankles. make sure you wear appropriate running shoes and try to run on level surfaces. the best fix is to soak feet/ankles in warm water for 15 minutes when you can. rest them for 24 hours when sore. hope it helps!

I'm normally sore. There's sore, and then there's SORE. Choose a different exercise every other day OR drink a glass of milk before running. That always helps me. Can be soy milk, but if you can put up with cramps or aren't lactose intolerant, the cow's milk.

YES, and if you're not sore you are most likely going to add distance because you aren't feeling like you got a good work out!

wait til you're foot's healed or you'll make it worse, it's probably you're shoes giving you sore feet so get yourself some better running shoes or whenever you run you will always get sore feet.

It's weird, i guess, but when i first started running when my legs were sore they hurt less when i ran on them.

yea, but you should stretch really good, take a easy don't do so much.
